This section is dedicated to members of the White Tower and Dragonmount who have an ongoing commitment to the Red Ajah and have ties so strong with us that they have been recognised with the honorary title of Red Friend.

Raijin,
a long standing Der’Manshima and committed Red Friend of the Ajah for several years, was the first (and so far only one) to be named Red Friend (= Honorary Red) and receive the prestigious Phoenix Heart award. Many times in the past the Red Ajah relied on his never ending commitment to watch out for it while the Sisters had to go out on a variety of duties. Raij was always there to welcome new members, inform novices and accepted and basically keep the heart of our Ajah beating in our absence. Never did he ask for anything, expect anything or hinted at anything in return for his services. He did it because he simply loved the Red Ajah, what it stood for and the members it held.
We have never really been able to express how much he means to us and the Ajah, except by making him an official Red Friend. Now, we hope that this award will also remind him of our gratitude, our friendship and our devotion to him as a valued member of our Ajah.
